then in your app direct to the right templates/style etc via a
$c->req->hostname table which would return www.brandname.com or whatever.

To me that looks more branded, and cleaner than fubbing with the path.

Because we need the brands to be adressable, i.e. there should be a way
to link to the proper brand.
