[Catalyst] Testing cookites / sessions

Hi all,
I am having some trouble writing test scripts for Catalyst using 
Catalyst::Test and Test::WWW::Mechanize::Catalyst. 

I am using Cat 5.33 with the Session::FastMmap plugin.

The problem I'm facing is that neither with Mechanize or with Catalyst::Test 
I can start and maintain a session. For some reason both variants refuse to 
store the cookie for reuse in additional requests.

Anybody else had similar problems ?
