I don't know the sales figures on the AxKit book but I doubt they  
were all that high. Not that it should prevent them from publishing  
low-volume books anyway -- for me it's what makes much of their  
reputation -- but maybe they're getting cold feet.

I certainly don't see which other book Catalyst would be competing with.
