I can confirm this, it's broken in DBD::mysql 2.9007 and 2.9008.

But it's not directly related to LIMIT clause, it will trow an 
exception on any value that binds a numeric datatype with undef.

A temporary solution is to downgrade to DBD::mysql 2.9006
