Actually, in theory, All I need to do is mark the helpers as 
eol-style=LF and the problem is solved. My editor preserves what it finds.

This does bring up an interesting point about __DATA__....even if I 
create the dist on Unix, what's going to happen on older non-LF 
perls..like MaxOS, where it's CR.

Definately a stupid developer trick. Thanks for the help guys.
I'll try and get 0.21 up this evening to fix that.
