I'll have to look into my usage of Authentication::Store::DBIC then. I'm
already using it in conjunction with
Authentication::Credential::Password, so maybe I don't need to do some
of the stuff I'm doing that breaks it at the moment.

If I can replicate my stupidity in a smaller testcase I'll lob it in the
relevant direction.
