What about Ubuntu? My observation has been that old-time Linux
hands who grew up on RPM-based distros prefer FC or CentOS simply
because they’re already familiar with it, but very nearly all of
those who come from other backgrounds have much more favourable
impressions of Ubuntu than of the RedHat-ish distros.
