[Catalyst] CDBI record updated but not showing in site -- stash clone?

I have an editor that updates/creates records. But the page that 
displays them does not pick them up without a server restart. I tried 
the weaken references to no avail.

This page -- http://wiki.class-dbi.com/wiki/Common_problems -- suggests 
that the problem might be template cloning/caching. How might one try 
to get around that or test if it's the problem?
