I've just pushed Catalyst 5.70_01 to CPAN. You can check it out here:

One of the big news in this release is a split into Catalyst::Runtime and Catalyst::Devel distributions. This means that you can deploy a catalyst application without requiring all the dependencies needed to make new Catalyst Applications, like Template Toolkit (unless your application uses it) or Module::Install. To this end, I've also done a developer release of the Catalyst-Devel package, available here:

Other improvements include the uri_with method, which allows you to make a modified version of the current uri, a completely new dispatch style called Chained and lots and lots of doc improvements. You can read the entire changes file here:

Please download the development release and give us feedback about the changes. We expect to do a final release in a weeks time or so, so this is your chance to affect the final 5.70 release.
