Okay, maybe I'm wrong. When I suggested the uri_for() to you the first 
time, 16 days ago, did you try it? Have you tried it since I (and Matt) 
recommended it again with sample code? If you tried it, what's wrong 
with the output versus the expectation?

I was going to offer you a one-liner to replace all your: 
"[%config.uri_base%]/WHATVER" with "[% c.uri_for("/WHATEVER") %]" -- 
but implying that the community is responsible for your deadlines and 
helping you earn your paycheck, or that you have a special license to 
disregard sound advice until someone helps you make spaghetti out of 
your app, is not the kind of thing that engenders a lot of brotherhood.
