[Catalyst] Catalyst install failure due to Mouse.pm on Debian Etch

Squirrel is bundled in the Mouse package.
Mouse fails to install cleanly.
..
One can force the install, but I remember MST asking for reports of 
instances where Catalyst didn't install cleanly, and this is one of 
those cases.
