Can you let us know what versions of B::Hooks::EndOfScope and 
Variable::Magic you have installed? (perl -MVariable::Magic\ 9999)

Can you also git clone git at github.com:bobtfish/namespace-clean.git and 
let me know if this version fixes your issues?
