[Dbix-class] Serialising to JSON instead of Storable

Hi everybody,

I'm looking at the option of changing our cache serialisation from
Storable to JSON (apparently JSON::XS can be damned quick), and was
wondering if anybody has got further than the API outlined in the RFC
thread in 2006 (http://www.mail-archive.com/dbix-class@lists.rawmode.org/msg01789.html)..
and/or how hard it would be to copy the logic from the Storable
serialisation already in DBIC.
