Freedom of choice is a good thing, but the variety of choices nowadays
is starting to seriously hinder people. Even outside Perl-world.
People have so many things to choose from (and often quite a bit to
lose if they choose the wrong thing) that they become paralyzed and
unconfident. Often, more is less:
