[epf-core] Perl Book/Articles

Okay, if you have been following the thread on Cat. lists, I suggested  
this in response to JShirley's brilliant idea:

"A Developers Perl book sounds like a good idea.

Perl for Enterprise: A look at Enlightened Perl Development

That way you could cover quite a few camps at once, if it took a theme  
such as bringing an app into existence (as already mentioned here)  
including all aspects of dev. then it might even elicit some general  
interest to other language developers who are very confused as to the  
current state of Perl."

So here's a thought. Why don't we use this as a starting point for  
EPO? Not the book immediately, but getting a group of the EP project  
people to write a small set of instructions/guides to setting up a  
simple App. using their tools. We could run it as a quick introductory  
guide and generate interest and feedback almost immediately.

If this is a good idea, respond and lets make our hit list of:

What App.?
What Modules/Projects?
Who do we volunteer to write their bit of the guide and provide code  
snippets :) ?
