This is something that has been discussed several times in the past,  
and I believe it's a good idea as well..

I definitively think we can do this sometime this fall. I still have  
to resolve some issues with user sharing between apps before I'm ready  
to open up for more platforms (iphone came early due to required  
timing with iphone dev camp in san fransisco). Wallace Reis has  
actually volunteered to looking into writing a script to sync the  
iusethis database with the CPAN index, but we might want to offer him  
sort of bounty on this work if EPO wants to contribute? (Since he  
works part time for Nordaaker,he's got access to the source code).

Btw, I would probably have to use google ads or something to cover  
hosting costs (depending on the traffic, anyone know what kind of  
traffic search.cpan.org is getting?) Would that  be an issue?
