From m.keating at shadowcat.co.uk Fri Oct 8 09:02:55 2010 From: m.keating at shadowcat.co.uk (Mark Keating) Date: Fri Oct 8 09:02:59 2010 Subject: [epo-core] EPO and the LPW Message-ID: <4CAEDE3F.9080707@shadowcat.co.uk> 1. Does anyone on the Core panel of directors object if we use the EPO banking facilities to provide a legal entity for the London Perl Workshop sponsorship? This would allow the sponsors to pay into a business account and receive an invoice/receipt and for the finances for the workshop to be legally accountable. Also we could promote the EPO at the event and on the website for its services in this. Let me know your thoughts asap? 2. Also we must hold another Directors election. Once again a director must stand down and either: a. allow another member to be elected b. stand for re-election. So who's for the task this year. 3. We seem to have let matters go stale in regards to the activities and promotion of our organisation and our goals. Should we have a think/burst of activity to show that we are not decaying? -Thanks mark -- Mark Keating BA (Hons) | Writer, Photographer, Cat-Herder Managing Director | Shadowcat Systems Limited Director/Secretary | Enlightened Perl Organisation co-Leader | North West England Perl Mongers http://www.shadowcat.co.uk | http://www.enlightenedperl.org http://northwestengland.pm.org | http://linkedin.com/in/markkeating From marcus at nordaaker.com Fri Oct 8 09:05:01 2010 From: marcus at nordaaker.com (Marcus Ramberg) Date: Fri Oct 8 09:16:20 2010 Subject: [epo-core] EPO and the LPW In-Reply-To: <4CAEDE3F.9080707@shadowcat.co.uk> References: <4CAEDE3F.9080707@shadowcat.co.uk> Message-ID: I don't have the time that EPO deserves, and would like to stand down and let another member be elected. *** Marcus Ramberg Nordaaker Consulting AS (995 701 766) +47 934 17 508 http://nordaaker.com On Fri, Oct 8, 2010 at 11:02 AM, Mark Keating wr= ote: > 1.
