First let me say thank you all for volunteering your time for this, I
will try to keep it low maintenance for you. I'm sorry that it has
taken this long to get off the ground, but I am excited that we are
moving forward hopefully.

So you know, the basic plan is listed in the [charter][1]. Obviously
the Timeline there is entirely wrong at this point, but the basic gist
of what I'm asking of you is:

1. Figure out which domains we should focus on
2. Identify best of breed distributions for each domain
2. Identify where the EPO can help improve distributions in each domain

I suppose we should get started with the domains list. The current
EPO-EC Working Group members have started working on step one in two
places, the groups in [Task::Kensho][2] and the [Domain List wiki
page][3]. My question here is how well do either of these lists
reflect the domains that you and your companies commonly work in? Are
there categories we have missed? Are there categories we don't need to
focus on?

This is intended to be a discussion list that will help the EPO-EC
working group and me distill out the deliverables in the charter. So
please, discuss.

Finally, I want to keep this process as open and public as possible.
If you have a short bio or a description that I can add to a page for
the EPO website explaining the EPO-EC and the process that would be
wonderful, just point me to it so I can include it.
