This looks like it could be interesting.  I just started a new job and 
have little time for writing code outside of work at the moment, so I 
had a look at ZenCart (www.zencart.com).  I shudder at PHP, but PHP apps 
like this are simple to install and configure (until you want to do 
something a bit out of the ordinary).  Catalyst and Perl could do with a 
complete ecommerce package that competed with ZenCart, osCommerce, etc 
on the ease of use front, but that was also secure and extensible (I've 
looked at interchange and that I thought was overly complex). 

ZenCart and osCommerce might be good sources of inspiration for Mango 
(although some of the implementation details of those two packages are a 
bit tacky).

I've added a couple of items to the admin section of the 
Mango::ProposedFeatures page and will try to follow this project.
