As suggested by the t'other head of the binary leadership I am 
presenting to you more details of the upcoming Hack Day for North West 
England Perl Mongers.

Date: Saturday 12th December
Time: 2 p.m. 'til we stop
Location: Shadowcat Systems Limited office in Lancaster

On the day it is my suggestion that we aim to solve the issue of the 
Ironman archives. I would like an archive form of the Ironman posts so 
that people can search through/display all the posts. While discussing 
this with Matt and Ian I suggested that a sort-of planet (I used 
different terms)of searchable blogs on perl would be a grand idea. So 
the other plan (for us to consider at the next social) would be to set 
up a planet feed - using maybe Dave Cross's Planet software and place it 
somewhere like:

everything.per.ly
-or-
allabout.per.ly

Or other such title (I think Matt came up with a better one on the day).

This would be a feed of all Perl blogs from use.perl, Ironman etc. - 
with news from the Perl news feeds and would be written in Perl (some of 
the other Perl linking sites are not).

So talk in this channel and come along to the social next week so we can 
discuss further. If you can't make it to Lancaster for the Hackathon 
maybe you can join us over the aether-nets or via the t'internet 
two-point-oery of choice.
