I know how many Perlmonger use Postgres. We're having a PostgreSQL
meetup in Manchester on March 4th

(http://www.meetup.com/The-Manchester-PostgreSQL-Meetup/) and would love
to see as many of you as possible! We're kicking off with a talk by
Simon Riggs on the new features of PostgreSQL 9.4. If enough time is
available, Simon might mention release 9.5 due later on this year.
Followed by Question Time - ask as many questions as you wish.

Who is Simon Riggs, you wonder?

Simon is a major developer and committer of the PostgreSQL project and
has contributed major features in each of the last 8 versions of
PostgreSQL. His work includes recovery and replication, performance and
monitoring as well as designs for many other features.

Simon has worked as a Database Architect for more than 25 years, with
high-end solutions experience and certifications on Oracle, Teradata and
DB2.

No pizza this time, but Simon will buy the first round of drinks at the
local pub.

Hope you are able to spend the evening with us.

Thank you

Josette
