Really nice post from Lee on the Ruby list about Unison, I thought might be
of interest to other communities too :-)

If you haven't been exposed to the unison language at all yet, two data
points that might help you decide:

- One of the authors (two?) are co-authors of the `FP in Scala` book which
is amazing, and gets glowing reviews - Paul Chiusano. He's also a huge
language nerd in the best possible way, and speaks excellently about it.
- For me, as a Rubyist, knowing the background of smalltalk and some of the
early "what OOP was supposed to be" and the smalltalk approach to running
your code in a perennial environment where nothing ever starts or stops,
Unison really, really speaks to me as awakening some long-lost ideas from
the glory days of language design before everything was overtaken by
variations on procedural OOP derived things with a C-like syntax.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCWtkvDQ2ZI is an amazing video to maybe
give you a taster of why Unison might be the most interesting programming
language I've noticed in the last decade.
