Welcome aboard. Can you be more specific about what your rant is about?

My name is Shlomi Fish, I'm an Israeli programmer and writer, and I'm the 
originator and chief maintainer of http://perl-begin.org/ which had been 
started a few years back out of frustration with the then 
http://learn.perl.org/ (and to a lesser extent http://perl.org/ ). I still 
hope to incorporate the good stuff from there into l.p.o and perl.org, so I 
was very happy to learn of mst getting public access to their code , this 
mailing list being formed, and an easy to set up Combust being placed on CPAN.

I have a patch pending to learn.perl.org about adding a /tutorials page 
similar to http://perl-begin.org/tutorials/ , which went through several peer-
review iterations (but I don't think was applied to the svn yet).

I hope we'll accumulate more momentum soon .
