[Catalyst] Is it normal to have lots of trouble installing catalyst?

John, I've had much the same experience here. It's frustrating to say the
least. I'm quite happy with Catalyst once it's installed, but the initial
setup has been quite difficult for me each time I've tried it. I need to
upgrade again, and I've been putting it off just because of this issue.

It's usually the dependencies that have issues for me. In particular, I
think I've routinely had trouble with Module::Build, among others. Next
time I try, I'll be sure to keep a log of exactly what happens.
