[Catalyst] Is it normal to have lots of trouble installing catalyst?

I also found that CPANPLUS seemed to help a lot.

I agree that the problem is not with Catalyst but with
some tangled chain of prequisites.  I also found that
installing some manually did the trick, athough I had
have to force install some and then cross my fingers.

I wish I have time to start a project to help solve
this issue.  It's a really turn off to be honest. 
Only because I love perl did I stick with it for so
long.  We are not going to convert and RubyonRails
folk this way!
