[Catalyst] Which Apache alternatives for production deployment?

Hello,

which Apache/mod_perl alternative would you recommend for production
deployment? FastCGI?

And what's the status of Catalyst-Engine-Server? It dates from May 2005
(the "pre 5.50 era").

I want to use lighttpd as webserver, if that matters.


Or is there no alternative to Apache?
