I used File::ShareDir::ProjectDistDir

to solve the 'make F:SD work the same in both dev and when installed.  You can see an example of my usage here

I think this is going to be a case of ' the more the merrier'.  I think we all agree the one size fits all approach dating back to the dawn of Catalyst just is not going to work over the longer term. So lets all experiment!  Keep sending you ideas and code to this thread and I will blog about them in a bit.
