It is not important (though it would prevent you from running `dmake dist` if
you so wished). The build system (and hence author tests) assume that your
repo git repo is set to:

  core.eol=lf
  core.autocrlf=input

This will one day be documented in the not-yet-existent 
DBIx::Class::Contrib::Win32
