[Dbix-class] DBIx::Class and memcached

Hi there,

Is anyone using memcached to cache DBIC objects? It would be ideal if
there was a possibility to define memcached as a caching layer in DBIC
and just it transparently.

If there is no 'standard' way, did anyone try to write their own
wrappers around DBIC to implement this?

I've found this a few months-old thread, but I'd like to see if there
were any other developments since then, or if anyone found a way to
work around those problems:
