Dagfinn, thanks for that note.

I believe Sam Vilain also mentioned PostgreSQL having MVCC in that 2007 proposal 
about Git as well.

Generally speaking, I am hoping that PostgreSQL would stand to be one of the 
most solid platforms to build on, and its looking better all the time.
