[Dbix-class] DBIC equivalent to DBIx::OO::Tree?

I have emailed the author and for now I have cloned the git repository 
but I note that nothing has been done for over 18 months so I will work 
on it as best I can for now until I get a response.

I may want to get back to you off-list if that is OK for some guidance.
