What does everyone think to putting an FAQ list on the website, to
answer common questions? As we get enquiries and questions we could post
a response to the FAQ page as well as replying in person. To start we
could put a few easy questions we create ourselves, and if we keep the
tone jocular and informative it might be good for adding lightness to
the site without being derrivative.
e.g.
Q: What is the difference between EPO and TPF?
A: We have less impressive beards.
A: The Perl Foundation is primarily concerned with promoting the
development of the Perl language, hence a large percentage of its
current focus is towards the development of Perl 6. EPO is dedicated to
promoting existing usage of Perl, what could be termed Perl in
Enterprise or Perl in Industry.
Q: What is Enlightened Perl?
A: A very nicely coined term.
A: Enlightened Perl is a term that has been applied to a new breed of
Perl modules and libraries that share some common philosophies. etc.....
What do people think? If we go ahead with this perhaps we start editing
the FAQ in this thread.
