Hello epo-core :)

Sounds good. I tried to look for what was on send-a-newbie.com as a
starting point but the site is now down and the wayback machine doesn't
have anything for it yet. Edmund may have copies, but there's nothing
that couldn't be done from scratch. I can do text/functionality but we
might need someone else's help if we want it to look web 2.0 snazzy,
since my CSS knowledge is limited to very clean/minimalist styles.

As far as the rules go, have we come to a definition of who is and who
is not a newbie yet? I think for me that's the most pressing issue,
since "Who is eligible?"is the first question I'm asked by potential
donors and beneficiaries.

Again good, there shouldn't be anything too complicated there.

Thanks.

Lovely, Dave Cross sorted out my blogs.perl.org account issues this
weekend, so along with the write up for the LPW there I'll reiterate and
expand upon my lightning talk.

Think we should do anything with http://twitter.com/send_a_newbie? My
inclination is to use it in the same way as it was used last year -
additional to the reflection of funds on the SAN website. If so, I'd
need the password for the account and the Net-Twitter Perl script so I
can edit it with the new PayPal details.

Anything my lawyer should know about? ;) I'm not too worried about the
organisation part, since we're making a start to it in good time for
next year's YAPC and have confidence that we can pull this off well.
Talking to Edmund, the most hair-raising part of the co-ordination is
dealing with visa issues, but we'll cross that bridge if and when we
come to it.

Kind regards,
