I'm also a special member. I was about to write something very similar
but your post said most of it already. Editor, yes, I don't mind one,
it's not targeted at me, but others might find it useful, plus any good
feature looks to make it back to other editors as well. Framework,
yes. Both in one? Smells like trouble.
