[Epo-members-announce] MetaCPAN Logo Competition, website, and CPAN Testers

Hey all,

Just a quick email to say thanks for voting in the logo competition. All 
of those who did vote, did so in favour of the initiative, so the motion 
carried. We will be sponsoring the competition and I will let you know 
how that goes as it progresses.

The next piece of information is that we will be working with the CPAN 
Testers to help organise server payments and donations to their 
initiative. So on that note if you work for a company that would like to 
dedicate a server as a mirror or would like to donate funds to CPAN 
Testers and all that they do then please contact me as soon as possible.

Our new membership website is getting close to being launched and I 
shall be kicking those responsible for that this week with a view to us 
having it fully operational for the new year. Also I have asked JJ (Jon 
Allen) to oversee the design of/control of a new look for the EPO and 
its associated sites and hopefully that will also appear early in the 
new year.
