Hi All,

This months North West England Perl Mongers technical meeting will be
held at the wonderful MEN offices in Manchester (MEN Media, Hardman
Street, Deansgate, M3 3RN), thanks to Fade (Carl Johnstone), Grim
(Graeme Lawton) and Iain (Iain Hubbard) for making this possible. Ian
and Mark would like to extend our thanks to MEN Media for giving us
use of their facilities especially in the light of the recent changes
to the MEN in Manchester. Due to the restrictions on room size this
event is limited to just twenty places, so please book your place at
http://nwe.eventwax.com/nwepm-march-technical-meeting/register as soon
as possible to avoid disappointment.

The programme will feature a talk by mst (Matt S. Trout) which we'd
like to call Epic Perl. The talk was first presented at the Orlando
Perl Workshop this year but is a singular performance that will change
with each telling in the style of the great oral poems of old. It is
called The Troll, the God, and the Mountain King.

The meeting will begin at 19:30, but we recommend you arrive from
19:00 to socialise beforehand.

Remember, North West England Perl Mongers covers a large geographical
area! If you want us to bring the camel and penguin to your area and
you can organise a venue for approximately twenty people, please do
let me know.

Please forward this email to friends, colleagues or lists that you
think might be interested.

Regards, Ian.
