I'd like to suggest the following, please let me know if any objections
before I proceed.

On www.perl.org:

/books.html
    - I think the online library needs to be most prominent, the link on the
left 'Free books' looks like an advert or navigation

    Sections on the page:
        - Books
            - Read online (library)
            - Beginners (link to learn/books.html or something)
            - Recommended by X
        - Audio (new section)
        - Journals / Magazines
            - Drop links to anything that is not current / not working
        - Larry Wall..

/books/library.html
    - Only real issue on this page is the navigation on the left with the
text wrapping oddly making it hard to read
    - Does some perl organization get money from book referrals? - if not
would that be a good idea?

/books/ - redirects to http://books.perl.org/
    - I've emailed Dave Rolsky who seems to run this to see if it is being
maintained
    - The login links are broken, and I've asked if it is being maintained.

Cheers

Leo
