Attribution is not the same as "advertising":

I should note that even most permissive FOSS licences (MIT/X11, 2/3-clause =

BSDL, ISC, Apache, Artistic 2.0, etc.) require an implicit attribution by =

mandating that people keep the old copyright holders in place. =


In any case, I removed the attribution part by the power of me as the main =

copyright. If possible, please add a contributors page somewhere that =

acknowledges the http://perl-begin.org/ origin of the page. CC-by is a very =

liberal licence and we shouldn't be afraid to use it:
