This isn't sri's Module::Pluggable::Fast I'm talking about, it's Simon 
Wistow's original Module::Pluggable which ::Fast was forked from. 
Simon's refactor is going to obviate the original reasons for the fork 
and then some; if you could test the current CPAN version of that for 
this same bug and report back it'd be much appreciated
