[Dbix-class] Repository layouts

Hi,

I just read the post from Jun 2007 about the repository layouts -
http://lists.scsys.co.uk/pipermail/dbix-class/2007-June/004499.html , but I'm
just not getting it.

DBIx-Class/0.08/trunk # current trunk
DBIx-Class/0.08/branches/* # possibly empty, maybe not if we decide on an 081
DBIx-Class/0.09/trunk # new -current equivalent
DBIx-Class/0.09/branches/* # equivalent of branches/DBIx-Class/ now

in 0.08 is: $VERSION = '0.08099_02'; # latest dev
in 0.09 is: $VERSION = '0.08010'   ; # latest stable

both have something in branches and no tags.

How it works? Agains which one to send patches?
