I really want to stress this point too.  Be positive, talk about other  
competing projects/languages openly.  If it means learning about them  
I'd say all the better.

I don't want to see perlbuzz-style flamebait under the EPO umbrella.   
I'm sure this will mean we sometimes have to walk on eggshells,  
especially in denying something "entry" (like if a module is excluded  
from Task::Kensho or something) but the end result will be worth it.

Focus on the positives and if you have to say something negative, be  
very fact based about it and try to keep personal opinion out of the  
mix, unless the mix requires personal opinion.  By endorsing  
something, we acknowledge it is better/best in our professional  
opinions ... a fine line, hope I'm not confusing :)
