I'm trying to make things simpler.  New users want guidance more than 
choice.  Maybe the tutorials I'm writing can be put into a recommended 
sequence with some of the off-site stuff and some of the other links 
are suitable for more covering some domain-specific stuff.

It seems like a bad plan to expand the number of books here when we have 
books.perl.org and perl.org/books/library.html already.
