[Xml-compile] Is XML::Compile the right tool for writing a SOAP server?

All I can say is that I've implemented some XML::C::S servers based
on Net::Server, following the examples in the ::Server dist and it
seems to work very well. Net::Server is configurable and does a
reasonable job - it can be run under DJB's daemontools quite easily.

Alternatively, I believe someone is working on a mod_perl2 handler
for ::Server - I'm interested in this too because we already have
Apache2 servers running so it'd be nice to add my SOAP services to
those (rather than run a separate server using Net::Server).

You could also ask people in the IRC channel #xml-compile on
irc.perl.org (although there are not many people on it as yet).

In fact the hardest part was choosing the namespaces! :-)

I hope that helps,
